Just a quick note to let everyone know I have arrived safely in Italy. I am in Pallanza tonight. Flew in today, built up my bike, and did a 25 mile warm-up ride along lake Magiorre. Tomorrow my Italian trip begins in earnest. We will see what I have left in the tank after France.
